A torsion bar suspension uses a thick steel bar that is twisted along its axis to abosrb the vertical movement of the wheels.
One end of the bar is anchored to the vehicle's hull, while the other connects to the suspension arm. As the wheel moves over rough terrain, the bar twists to cushion the impact, providing a smooth ride and excellent durability.
The design is highly valued for being compact and saving interior space, making it ideal for the demanding conditions of armored fighting vehicles, tanks, etc. KHT's customers include Hanwha Aerospace and Korea DAPA.
